POSSIBLE REGULATION OF MINE AIR FLOW IN WORKING AREAS USING AIR CURTAINS
Description (Dublin Core)
hrv

Air curtain in underground mines is a quality method to regulate the quantity of air. Thus method consists in releasing the flat stream of air from the nozzle situated on the lateral side of the underground openings. The air stream is released under an angle to the axis of the openings. Air stream is partially blocked and part of it is directed to the parallel working.
On the basis of a laboratory air measurings on various models, this paper describes the tests trying to find out the possibility to construct conceptually and put into function a device to create the air curtains.
